Help a girl out

So, I have a dilemma. I have foot problems. I need a pair of summer sandals that can handle a day at Sea World. Also, I am super cheap.

That's where you come in. My lame-o $7.99 flip flops are not going to work. I just went to run a few errands with them on and now my toe hurts so bad that I think I cried a little. (Let's keep that between you and me, 'kay?)

Here are a few sandals I have been thinking about. What do you think? Any other suggestions? You should probably know that:

a.) They have to be really well-supportive and comfortable, but I am also vain. Form and function required.

b.) I inexplicably loathe the gladiator-style sandal. Possibly more than skinny jeans.

Please help. Thanks!

  1. I think the wedge thong sandal (#3) would be extremely uncomfortable to walk around in all day. The first two look like better choices to me. I personally like #1 better because I don't like flip flops, thongs, what have you. But, either would be okay, I think.

  2. They're all cute, but not quite my style. If I were choosing one of those, I like the silver in the first one. But I think #3 looks more like you.

  4. so I guess you wouldn't like my $5 Dr. Scholl's sandals? Function only.

    Ryan doesn't either.

  6. You need to go to the Eddie Bauer outlet in PC. I found my favorite pair of flip flops there...comfy and cute for $10.00. Love them!

  7. you're going to sea world?! when?

i like the way #3 looks the best. (and we all know that's all i care about. just kidding. but i just got my walking boot off, and the doctor told me to wear tennis shoes all the time. that's not really an option.)

dr. scholls are comfy i think and they have some semi-cute options. maybe like these:

  8. Mom has about an infinity of cheap sandals. I'm sure she would loan you a pair. That would save you lots of money

  9. Our family is hilarious. I like #3 the best for looks, #2 okay and I wouldn't buy #1. But that's just me and it was before I looked at the price, so you know my cheap nature hasn't influenced my opinion.

  10. I like #3 but is that heal going to be too high for walking around Sea World all day?

  11. #1 looks like it will wrap your foot in love. The others with the thong, bumps, and wood, look like they would be good for 1/2 day at a mall, but all day at SeaWorld? You've GOT to go with comfort. There. My $2 are in... inflation, you know.

  12. I really like #3. I have a pair of Kenneth Cole wedges, but they are much higher, that I love and they are so comfortable! But I don't know if I would walk around Sea World all day long in them. Next would be #2. Not a fan of #1.

As an aside, I could have sworn I've seen you in skinny jeans, no?

  13. I adore kenneth cole myself...though walking in a wedge all day ---> OUCH! I am jealous you are going somewhere fun! I have a pair of flip flops I got @ white house/black market 5 years ago - HEAVEN! though I doubt they still carry them, but they formed and cradled my feet just lovingly so. good luck! comfort is a must. maybe just do the tennis shoe thing? (i know...white feet + tan legs does NOT = beauty).

  14. I wore memory foam flip flops for two straight days at Disneyland and didn't get sore feet. They may not be beautiful, but my feet didn't care.
