honey, i'm home

I am currently conserving my "limited strength in order to maximize [my] influence where it matters most."

By taking Sunday walks, reading bedtime stories, and making strawberry milkshakes.

I have Things To Do this coming week: 10 weeks worth of deep cleaning, prepare for a Relief Society lesson, finish sewing projects, update church records, make family history contacts, write! It feels great to know there will be time for all of it and that I can be doing it all at home. Because that is where I "have the most power and influence."

Aaahhh. It's good to be home.

  1. welcome home (though i wish it was in az). ahhh i love your kids. emma looks darling in that outfit.

  2. Welcome Home, Rachel! :) Love the pictures of your kids.

  3. YAY!!! i'm so happy for you! can't wait to see all your finished projects...and while you're at it, post your milkshake recipe!

  4. Welcome home. Now it's time to immerse yourself in your new reality. Enjoy!

  5. *happy sigh* It's so great to be home with the kids... when they're being nice. You want a few extras today? :)
Actually, I love being a stay home parent. It's occasionally nice to have those "working elsewhere" experiences that help me remember how much I want to be here with them.

  6. That last comment was me... sorry to confuse you! I forgot that my friend had logged in on my computer!
