I am currently conserving my "limited strength in order to maximize [my] influence where it matters most."
By taking Sunday walks, reading bedtime stories, and making strawberry milkshakes.
I have Things To Do this coming week: 10 weeks worth of deep cleaning, prepare for a Relief Society lesson, finish sewing projects, update church records, make family history contacts, write! It feels great to know there will be time for all of it and that I can be doing it all at home. Because that is where I "have the most power and influence."
Aaahhh. It's good to be home.
I'm SO happy for you!

ReplyDelete*happy sigh* It's so great to be home with the kids... when they're being nice. You want a few extras today? :)
ReplyDeleteActually, I love being a stay home parent. It's occasionally nice to have those "working elsewhere" experiences that help me remember how much I want to be here with them.
That last comment was me... sorry to confuse you! I forgot that my friend had logged in on my computer!
